Rob Morrow, who will forever be “Fleischman” to us Northern Exposure fans, has a new series beginning next Sunday on CBS: Numb3rs features Morrow as an FBI agent who recruits his math genius brother (played by fellow J. David Krumholtz, last seen by us as another nerdy brother in Slums of Beverly Hills) to help him solve tough L.A. crimes. Rounding out the cast is Judd Hirsch as their curmudegonly (could he play it any other way?) father, making this the most Jewish non-Jewish show on television.
Oh, and in other Morrow news, we have confirmed that his daughter’s name is indeed Tu. We expect to see a reality show twelve or so years from now where Tu Morrow, Apple Paltrow and Coco Cox are sent to a celebrity boot camp for wayward teens.
Jewish celebrity sighting alert! Saw both Rob and David (a Freaks & Geeks alum) on Saturday night at a casino night benefit for the victims of the tsunami disaster. Either they’re raging gambling addicts or they just have huge hearts (and nothing else to do on a Saturday night). Money was donated. People were helped. Bijou Philips didn’t punch anyone. All in all, a good night.
He named his kid Tu? Cocaine is a hellova drug! These celebrities are going to traumatize these poor kids. Good thing they dont have to go to public school.
