Children can and do say the most fascinating, inane, and sometimes profound things. Now take that same child, subject them to years of religious education at a Conservative shul, and, post bar/bat mitzvah, you get comments like those you’ll find at aaclassblog@blogspot.com. I just finished up a class with 8th and 9th graders on the subject of Jewish blogging. I’m slowly but ever so surely getting most of their comments posted, but even with the few already up, just as with the youngsters comments your mom sent your way, you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll go hmmmm…

Oy!
Hey AAD! Funny stuff there – your kids are a little deeper. The Dreidel verses are pretty durn classic, too.
Where’s your shul?
Funny… like Joyce, I too prayed for a puppy and all I got was a little brother. A few decades later and still there’s no puppy in my life. I hope Joyce gets hers soon. Great post Yenta!
Thanks, Joe! Couldn’t have done without my main man CTraffik!
